Peter & Jane

Though my birthday yesterday was somewhat disappointing, i have recovered from the devastation by listening to pretty whimsical music till dawn, received late night wishes through texts from beautiful people and i had a great lunch today at a quaint, cozy, everything-homemade cafe believed to be run by a group of aspiring food junkies.

I, for one, love all things gastronomy. And i come across this cafe by an event in facebook that i was supposed to attend to and it was held there. So i explored a bit and stumbled across their page in facebook and had their address noted down. What attracted me most is their unique interior design and i love cafes with no wallpapers attached on brick walls. And i may or may not have fallen in love with their loo too.

Speaking of unique, their creative mindset was put into good use. They had their listing of food inside the book series of Peter and Jane. Wicked!

I was given the honor to choose the restaurant for lunch today and you could say i was in a dilemma. I was craving for some Japanese too and there is a little family restaurant in Subang Avenue that i took a liking on the first time my mother brought me there for a quick treat. You should probably tell the end.

I had Ulam Fried Rice as recommended. Basically, it is wok-fried rice with various aromatic herbs alongside ayam kunyit. The chicken was amazing. The crisp skin, succulent meat, what is there not to like?

Also, their signature fat hot chocolate ought to be tried! The rich sinful taste of chocolate is heavenly and it melts your throat and heart by the first sip. Reminds you of butterflies and french baguette.

This cafe deserves a star and it is worthy of your visit! Located at Damansara, the same row where you can get awesome, yummy cupcakes in Wondermilk, Fat Spoon is THE place to be for delicious food and hang out spot.

Yummers
