Trip downtown 'fornia

Someone asked me today whether i cut my sandwiches diagonally or vertically.

I had quite a productive day today. Woke up by the smell of hot pancakes, or so i'd like to imagine. Tip toed to the kitchen but surprise surprise, the pancake flour ran out. Devastated, okay maybe not till that extent, disappointed perhaps. It was just for a matter of minutes before i devoured into a big doughnut mother bought in the Loaf.

Doughnuts > pancakes = HAPPY.

Then i had a warm bubble bath in my bathtub, taking my own sweet time since i didn't have to go to school today. After a satisfying bath, came out to find a mug of hot chocolate on the table waiting to be consumed by me. Enjoyed every single minute of it before i headed out to Ji's house for a study group. Studied economics which was unexpectedly understandable and without much distraction.

For lunch, we had our chef hats on and cooked the best vegetarian fettucini and linguini topped with fresh mushroom pasta sauce with loads of mushrooms, mixed colorful vegetables and sausages. Dessert was hot tea with the company of Almond Pecan Praline ice-cream.

Then we proceeded to a heart to heart talk about almost everything, had a short walk to her new house and we had more ice-cream on a bun we bought at the park in front of Ji's house. I became the victim of a few blood sucking vampires in puny bodies while we were at the swing.

Overall, i had a great time today. Thanks for the hospitality ji! :)

I am anticipating tomorrow. Will be doing a little shopping spree and maybe just maybe, bake something delicious. But chicken sandwich, definitely. So stay tuned!
