Of yarns and wool

It is very much unlike my personality to do a double post all in one day. But let's count this as a rare exception shall we? :) You know, i seem to have lost the interest in studying again (which happens twenty-four seven since pre-school) but in just a matter of time, i've found a new one. Ever since my mother bought me The Friday Night Knitting Club novel, i am keen to learn how to knit a cardi of my own now. I always wanted something handmade but all i ever got was home-cooked. And the worse part is, i can't even sew. I remembered when i was in form one, we girls had to sew a skirt. It was part of the Living Skills project that i dreaded and loathed. The cloth given was ugly but that's not the point. Anyways, i was super lazy back then. Not to mention, naive too. So when i heard all the girls sent away their cloths to the hands of the professionals, i thought i could cheat too. But the outcome wasn't that pleasing. Anyway, below's a few Etsy finds of crochets that i like. If only i could do such. This shall include into my long list of to-dos' after SPM!

Owls are one of the new cutest things, and a baby girl or baby boy will be the cutest one on the block in this brightly colored owl earflap hat. The cap is crocheted from 100% cotton yarn and has a bright green top, brown bottom portion and turquoise and white eyes with black buttons in the middle. Perky multi-colored ear tufts and braids with tassels finish off the cap. by LittleChickKnits
