Here we go

Ok. Now for a real & long update after neglecting my blog for what seemed like ages. But better late than never-kan! I'm going to start with the Lunar New Year visits from houses to houses all across Subang Jaya. But before that, had reunion dinner, the usual 8 course meal, with close relatives of mine at my uncle's chinese restaurant in Bukit Jalil on Saturday. For those of you who want to celebrate an occasion or just plain hungry, please visit Yew Siang Restaurant ok? It is located somewhere you'll have to find it yourself. *Hints - Opposite the Store. It's pretty big and eye-catching so i promise you won't miss it. :) See, i'm such *coughs* a good niece , i promote voluntarily without yearning for a penny.

Um, i suppose that would be me with a view of my cousin's butt for your pleasure. Oh yeah, they have internet access btw, isn't that AWESOME?!

So on the very first day of the supposingly big day for most chineses out there (excuse my english), i received my first big red packet from my mom at 08:00 am. Yes, i woke up that early, be surprised! :) I did not bother to take any pictures this year though as this year's new year was expectedly the same as previous years except maybe a little more boring than usual. Many of my relatives decided to celebrate by their own and thus resulting to a reduce in my annual red packets collection! {insert sad sad face here} The night ended with loud firecrackers i swear i will abolish it once i rule the world.

The next day, went for a double movie date with mother in Pavilion and i had a night spent with mom and brother in Westin as well. I love the beds there, they're really comfy and there's like a total of 5 different pillows and two different blankets on a king size bed. They're up for sale as well, wanted to purchase them but i'm pretty content with mine right now. :) 'sides, i sleep on a puny single bed which has no space to fit those big comfy pillows. {insert another sad face here, like a real sad teary look} Oh i felt there was a need to watch chinese movies during the Chinese New Year period, so mom bought two tix for 72 Tenants (which was pretty lame except for the MJ part which was nice cause i like MJ) and Little Big Soldier which in my opinion, KICKS ASS man! I've always a soft spot when it comes to Jackie. *blush*

That concludes part of my first few days of the new year. Now for the ever so awesome visits! Blame Fennie as she had taken a pretty much long time to upload the pictures via facebook. So picture credits to her ya! :D The day started off quite early as mother had to work, i dropped by Siew Chi's house first.

Chi and her enormously chio and furry teddy! Took this while waiting for Yuet before we leave for Yuen Shih's.

The group of us in Yuen Shih's. & pei qi's pose. -.-

Of pouts and cross legs, and just plain tweed.

Back to Chi's.

& we got ourselves to Yuet's,
followed by Fennie's at ss15,

Borrowed Wan Teng's Harry Potter the sixth, yes, cause i'm a fan like that!

& then it was Jia Yun's,
and sher li's,

Zhi Jun's was our last stop before we land ourselves in Pyramid for some window shopping.

Had a little drama, but thank God it ended peacefully. Or so i'd like to think. At night, we went to Sheng's house for his bbq dinner which was okay. The best part is that i won quite a lot by playing a little black jack and some random chinese-named card game that Ken Boon helped me. Had a karaoke session as well, but the microphone was dominated by Yang who has the loveliest voice ever. *note my sarcasm. :D

Collected over 50 bucks worth of ang pows throughout the day and i think i've spent all of them already. Well, what can i say? :)
