Tis the season to give than to receive. Be in exultation for the Christ has come! Blessed Christmas, everybody.

Will update more after my trip to Melaka and Singapore. I am excited. Till then, have a jolly good time.

Ingenious

Currently devouring into some Japanese Blueberry Cheesecake mother bought before she left me at home for a trip out of town. Also, today marks the last day of my presence in mother's office, picking up calls and making no noise. It was a relief. No more heavy lunches, no more stoning, no more cursing under my breath for the slow connection of the internet, no more picking up calls to be shouted at for my apparent soft voice over the line, no more making ridiculous faces and acts in front of the cctv, no more.

Talking about doing something productive, went to Tangs to get some ornaments to decorate my dust-covered plant to enhance the spirit of Christmas at home. I guess it worked. A bit. For me.

Mother has not seen this yet. Hopefully when she's back from the trip, she'll allow me to put my Christmas presents under the plant and also to assure me that when she does her cleaning, she will not do it aggressively and destroy the wrapping paper of the presents. Yes, she cleans in a harsh manner as though everything is made from hard alloy and is resistant to cracks and breaks.

After the non-stop stalking of recent statuses updated by my Facebook friends, went out for a productive meet with a friend from church. Got the chance to meet her adorable 8 year old pekingese, Ralph too!

It is very well trained, kudos to the owner. Ralph is like a baby incarnate. Like a pillow made of wool. The size made it extremely cuddly and for the love of the ears! They're so soft and furry. The owner purposely had the fur on the ears to be untrimmed.

Had an amazing talk and discovered so many things, relatively about God. I feel so blessed. We practically talked all the way from her house, to the church, to eating snacks and playing europian board games at Meeples. Twas a fun night! Great company i adore very much.

I am taking the advantage of my very short freedom to take a little breather outskirt, read the pending books, bake and master the art of western baking, organize a small slumber party, rearrange my books, clear hints of high school ; and ignore questions of my future undertakings.

Must. resist. year-end-sale.

Expectations : Loiter in malls, watch an infinite amount of movies, more retail therapy

Reality : Work, work, eat and work.

He can do anything

Currently drained out from erasing doodles and side notes on majority of the pages in the loan textbooks i was required to borrow at the start of the year. And now i'm famished.

Tomorrow will officially be the last day of my taking of the public examination papers and i am jumping around jubilantly, not literally of course lest people think i am somewhat mental from all the stress and whatnot. It's funny how i can still be at peace when economics is one of my weakest subject and i am to take it tomorrow.

Anyhow, yesterday's Christmas party was a success. All glory and thanks to God! Smiles of contentment and laughters of joy can be testified. Thank you Winnie, Monica, Yi Waey for your presence for it had made the party merrier and more jolly. :-)

Today Pastor Alex Sanders from Healing Rooms, San Antonio came down to preach in our church and indeed it was a productive one alright. He spoke of the power and authority God has given us. The power and authority to heal the sick, wake up the dead, cure the leprosy and cast out devils and demons. Luke 9:1-3

God's presence was felt.

The Bee \./

Okay, the backslash, the full stop and the forward slash are all a failed attempt to signify a bee. Obviously, it looks more of a glass and because of the title, you might be thinking it has honey in it. Which is ridiculous, frankly.

I am actually referring to a place, not very far, but far indeed. Cars, petrol and traffic jams aside, the Bee is a food and drink hangout that proudly serves affordable fuss-free food, quality coffee and more, in a friendly and cosy corner of Petaling Jaya. I wouldn't say it as affordable, but they do serve both quality and quantity. So it's value for money.

Today, though, i am going to drool you over some burgers as they are currently having a lunch promotion whereby with any order of the burger of your choice (they have a long variety of burgers, you can check them out at theBee'swebbie), you will get a complimentary drink of their homemade lemonade (which was extremely sour to my liking) or any soft drink. And burgers partly cause they don't have Tuna Tobika Sandwich anymore. Sad.

I was given only an hour for lunch but being Malaysian (known for always being late and unpunctual), you will have to keep a secret for me. I hope my mother doesn't find out about this post because i mentioned otherwise.

So i embarked on a food-tasting journey with Justin and David to Jaya One where the Bee is located at. Like a kid, anticipating for the daily ice-cream truck, i was thrilled! After debating with Justin in the car about which route to take, unabashed, i stood firm with my answer though i was proven otherwise.

Second shot of him as the other looked awfully gangsterish, and we debated about that too.

Ebi Fry Burger of awesomeness : Japanese-crumbed prawn cutlets with house-made Bulldog tartar sauce, egg, lettuce and tomato on a lightly toasted burger bun and served with fries.

Vegetarian Falafel Burger: Chickpea patty, alfalfa sprouts, lettuce, tomato & mint yoghurt dressing on a lightly toasted burger bun and served with fries.

Don't they look delish? Yummers they were! The Bee crew were so generous as they gave us an abundance of shoestring fries, i couldn't even finish! David had a scrumptious-looking beef burger too. But poor guy must be hungry, gobbled up everything before i could even snap a picture of it.

I cannot wait to go back there to try some other food they offer. Oh! They, too, have an exquisite mini natural oak tree with wooden cutleries as ornaments. Talking about getting into the spirit of Christmas!

To my mother who doubted this quaint little cafe, her argument is invalid. *grins. Speaking of which, she bought an extra Tau Foo Fah for me. God bless her! :-)

Made of soy, a delicious dessert best serve with sugar sauce of all kinds.

I think i'm gonna learn how to knit. And sew. And everything nice. I was reminded by the joy of knitting i was put to visualize after reading the novel 'The Friday Night Knitting Club'. Definitely a must read, especially during seasons of such. Handmade crochets and fleece jackets are very costly nowadays.

If there's one wish should i be granted, i would want snow to pour over Malaysia. Wouldn't that be wonderful? Even if it's just for a day, i will cherish every moment of it. To sit by the fireplace with a mug of hot chocolate with a shameless amount of marshmallows, while watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

I jest. That will never happen.

But how cool will it not be to wear this Alpaca Sweater? I will don this outfit everyday.
